Have you ever thought about changing the world – or just making change your school or community? Let Spark the Wave help you bring your vision to life at Wave Week 2019!
Spark the Wave empowers young people to change the world through service and has trained thousands of the nation’s best young community leaders. Through their intensive week-long Service Leadership Institutes, participants develop their skills in leadership development, group dynamics, and communication in an effort to plan and execute better service projects while building stronger teams.
Held at Villanova University, Wave Week offers two sessions welcoming students in grades 6 – 11. Through hands-on activities and group discussion, participants will also gain skills in creativity, diversity awareness, motivation, fundraising, project planning, and more.
Paired with two off-site volunteer trips to community partners, Wave Week offers the premier service-leadership experience for young people. Social events and team competitions take place on campus each night allowing time for making plenty of new like-minded friends from across the country.
All participants earn 40 hours of community service for attending and walk away with an action plan in place to support the next steps on their leadership and service journey.
Residential and commuter options are available as well as discounts for attending both sessions or with a group. Learn more and register online.
