When 12-year-old Clara was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019, there were some days during her treatments when she couldn’t eat or even get out of bed. During those times, she found it was helpful to have something to play or fidget with. She started playing with slimes and putties and it really helped her to relax and to stay calm.

So she started making fun experimental slimes herself to use as a way to give back to the community and the other kids on her floor at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). That was the beginning of Slimes of Courage.
For every slime purchase, Slimes of Courage provides one for a child at CHOP. And all profits benefit the families at CHOP.
Creative slimes include Snowball Fight (Thick half foam, scented white chocolate ); Hanukkah Lights ( Clear slime with glitter and gold, sugar cookie scented.); and Hawaiian Christmas (Semi clear with glitter, pineapple scent. Comes with pineapple charm and drink umbrella).

Clara finished treatment and is now in remission! But she’s still raising money for CHOP with her slime.
